NCB is working with the Sussex Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) on an evaluation of a series of programmes delivered on behalf of the VRP.
Violence Reduction Units (VRUs) bring together police, local government, health and education professionals, community leaders and other key partners to develop a Public Health approach to the root causes and impact of violent crime, with a specific focus on young people under the age of 25. The Sussex VRP is one of 20 Home Office funded units across England and Wales, which were launched in 2019 and are currently funded until the end of March 2025.
In 2022 NCB was commissioned by the Sussex VRP to undertake a series of process and impact evaluations of the interventions it funds.
During 2022-23 NCB undertook evaluations of:
