We are pleased to provide ongoing support to the PHA for the development and implementation of the infant mental health framework across the region.
In preparing this refreshed action plan to build on the commitments from the 2016 infant mental health framework, research and engagement activities were undertaken to reflect on progress, and to identify changing needs, priorities, and policy drivers.

There are locality Infant Mental Health groups in each Trust Area coordinated by the Child Development Intervention Coordinator (CDIC) supports evidence-based parent programmes. These groups are for professionals supporting work to support Infant Mental Health and their families. See contact details below.

NCB also sit on the Steering Group for the Stronger from the Start Alliance, a collaboration of voluntary sector organisations who are committed to keeping babies, infants and their families at the heart of policy and practice development.
