The work of NCB’s research team is carried out in collaboration with a wide range of governmental (central and local government), Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) and academic partners.
Voluntary and Community Sector: VCS funders and partners have included the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, NatCen, Treloar Trust, NSPCC, Acorns Hospice, Hospice UK, Together for Short Lives, NCEPOD, J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust, the Royal Osteoporosis Society and the Lottery.
Academic: NCB’s Young Research Advisors (YRAs) and the Family Research Advisory Group (FRAG) work with academic teams at different stages of research projects, from the design of proposed research through to comments on methodology and assisting with research outputs and dissemination strategies. Members of the YRA have also worked with academic researchers and animators to produce animated research outputs related to child health, aimed at children and young people. Academic partners have included University College London, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Roehampton, University of Kent, University of Cambridge, University of Bristol and the British Academy
