Melika Malone-Lee is the Policy Officer for the Working Together with Parents Network.
Melika has extensive experience working with charitable and public sector organisations on equality, human rights, and mental capacity issues, and with parliamentary and policy activity. This work has involved supporting adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers as well as providing information, advice and advocacy.
A key focus of Melika’s current work is supporting policy, systems and practice improvement across a range of organisations. This involves collaborating with colleagues, and fostering cross-sector partnerships, across government departments, academics, legal experts, regulators, service providers, and community members.
