As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations we created a four-minute film to showcase NCB’s achievements and impact.
Working in collaboration with NCB’s FLARE group member, Sakara, we created a documentary-style short film to find out what makes NCB unique and why we are so proud of all we have accomplished over the last 60 years.
Sakara stars as the presenter, speaking with staff about how NCB helps create lasting change and about the ever-increasing challenges that face childhood today.
Alongside the interviews, we stitched together montages of our day-to-day work including a LEAP ‘Warm Hub’ where families struggling with the cost-of-living-crisis were given a hot meal and the chance to engage in activities with their babies, whilst accessing services and support from local providers.
We also featured footage from our Youth Voice Matters conference where NCB brought together more than 100 disabled children and young people and children and young people with special educational needs to enable and empower them to participate in decision-making at local and national levels.
And finally, you will be able to spot footage from the Anti-Bullying Week ‘Reach Out’ campaign and Philippa Stobbs’ valedictory lecture in parliament.
Watch our video below to gain insights into what makes NCB truly unique and how we bring people and organisations together to find the best solutions for children and young people.
