Through pioneering work using large-scale linked data sets, we investigate the needs of children and young people based on individual records of how they have been supported by different services and how this has affected their outcomes.
- The Clinical Records Interactive (CRIS) - As part of the Living Assessments project, we are working with colleagues at Cambridge University to draw on an unprecedented dataset of linked clinical records to investigate the health, education, welfare and social work interventions for a third of a million babies, children and young people.
- CAMHS Referrals and Outcomes for Adolescents and Children with Social Workers (COACHES) - this four-year collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Kingston University, King’s College London, the British Association of Social Workers and the Care Leavers Association, examines data from over 70,000 young people across two NHS trusts to investigate how social care interventions and mental health and wellbeing services correlate.
