Anti-Bullying Week 2025 Launches with ‘Power for Good’ Theme and support from a Host of Stars

The Anti-Bullying Alliance is pleased to announce that this year’s Anti-Bullying Week will take place from Monday 10 to Friday 14 November 2025, beginning with the much-loved Odd Socks Day on Monday 10 November. The theme for this year’s campaign is Power for Good and it has already garnered support from a host of stars wanting to use their Power for Good.

Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Anti-Bullying Alliance reaching over 7.5 million children and young people through initiatives in over 80% of schools. It is supported by a host of individuals and organisations across education, health, the voluntary sector and beyond.

The theme Power for Good was developed with young people, teachers and parents. It aims to encourage young people to recognise and use their power to stop bullying — whether that’s speaking out, offering support, or creating inclusive communities.

Every year, bullying impacts the lives of millions of young people and silence helps it grow. That’s why, this Anti-Bullying Week, we’re empowering young people to use their Power for Good to safely speak up and raise awareness when they see bullying, face to face or online.

Lasting change needs all of us. From playgrounds to parliament, our homes to our phones, we all have a part to play. Together, we can use our Power for Good to end bullying — for good.

The campaign will culminate with a range of events competitions, and social media activity in Anti-Bullying Week. As part of this, we will also be launching an exciting new competition for young people headed up by Rúben Dias, ABA Patron and Manchester City defender, running in the lead up to Anti-Bullying Week. Details to be announced next month. The Anti-Bullying Alliance will release a suite of free cross-curricular teaching resources and tools for primary and secondary schools, as well as materials for parents and carers, to support widespread involvement.

Martha Evans, Director of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, said:

“Anti-Bullying Week continues to be one of the most important moments in the school calendar, and this year we’re thrilled to launch the theme ‘Power for Good’. We know that young people can change the world when they’re supported to speak out and stand up to bullying. This campaign will remind us all — from pupils and teachers to politicians and parents — that we each have the power to make a difference.”

Andy Day, CBeebies and CBBC star and frontman of Andy and the Odd Socks, who is once again backing Odd Socks Day, said:

“Odd Socks Day is a fun way to kick off Anti-Bullying Week, but the message behind it is powerful: we’re all unique and we all have the power to stand up against bullying. Whether it’s on stage, at school or online, we can all use our Power for Good to help someone feel included and supported.”

Rúben Dias, ABA Patron and Manchester City defender, said:

“I’m proud to support Anti-Bullying Week and to use my platform to inspire young people to speak up when they see bullying. We all have the power to make a difference, and by standing together and supporting one another, we can help create a kinder, more inclusive world.”
