Southern Health and Social Care Trust’s Perinatal Mental Health Service. Providing care to mothers diagnosed with moderate to severe mental health conditions
The establishment of the Perinatal Mental Health services has been ongoing across Northern Ireland, each Trust now has a dedicated team. The Southern Trust service has been fully operational since January 2023 and offers specialist care to women with a diagnosis of a moderate to severe perinatal mental health condition. The design of the service is to offer tailored wrap around and compassionate care for women, their infants and families.
