Sarah Creek is a qualified teacher with 25 years’ experience teaching in school-based nursery and reception classes. Her interest in early years education started when she volunteered at a local nursery during Sixth Form and has been a life-long passion ever since.
Sarah champions early education, and is committed to raising the profile of the early years and helping others to understand and value it’s importance. Sarah has a particular interest in mental health and emotional wellbeing and is passionate about creating environments where children, staff and parents can develop and flourish.
In her role as Senior Development Officer at NCB, Sarah supports across a range of early years policy, research and practice development initiatives, drawing on her extensive knowledge and experience of early years in practice.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys getting out for walks in the countryside and is a keen advocate of the benefits of nature on wellbeing.
