Gill Holden has over 30 years’ experience in the Early Years, Early Education and Childcare sectors, along with significant experience of strategic leadership within Local Authority.
She is passionate about professional development and a keen enthusiast of supporting the Early Years Workforce. She is a highly experienced and qualified trainer, coach and mentor having held positions in Further and Higher Education and training roles in national early years and childcare organisations as well as running her own successful training, coaching and consultancy business.
In her role at Principal Officer at NCB, Gill leads key programmes of work focusing on early years to ensure the best outcomes for young children and their families.
Her role includes identifying and dissemination of good practice through working with practitioners, policy makers, children and their families across all aspects of early years work. Gill also brings a particular interest in emotional wellbeing and mental health of infants, children and adults and is a champion of hidden disabilities.
In her spare time, Gill loves spending time with her family and their huge black Labrador. She enjoys cooking and entertaining as well as eating out. Gill has a love of music, reflexology and mindfulness.
