Numbers can only tell some of the story of impact. To get behind those statistics we need to use qualitative methods of evaluation
About this event
We know that statistics and numbers can only tell some of the story about impact. In order to get ‘behind’ those statistics we need to use qualitative methods of evaluation. The aims of this workshop are as follows:
- To explore what qualitative methods are and how they differ from quantitative methods
- To examine the advantages and disadvantages of qualitative methods
- To explore different types of qualitative methods for use with both young people and adults
Online using ZoomThe training will allow participants plenty of opportunity to get involved through the use of practical exercises and also will allow plenty of time to ask questions. Places are limited to Community/Voluntary and Public Sector and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you have any queries at all please email: Colette Lydon - [email protected]
If you register and do not attend, your registration fee will not be refunded unless you give advance warning of at least 7 working days. We may take recordings at this event and these may be used for publicity or other purposes. Please contact [email protected] if you do not wish to be included.
