The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is using a £332,848 grant to support children and young people with sight loss, aged 8 -25, from across Northern Ireland in their Our Futures project.
The project aims to develop the life skills, knowledge and confidence they need to cope better with sight loss and live more independently.
The young people will take part in training workshops that will enable them to participate in community-based groups and become advocates for themselves.
