Carrigart Youth and Community Group in west Belfast is using a £91,528 grant to provide positive activities for young people to take the lead on and support them to become role models in the community.
Over four years the project will build confidence, reduce isolation, improve mental health and increase employability skills. Activities include an after-schools club run by older young people for younger children, teen drop-in sessions run by young adults in the area to build their CV, OCN courses, mental health walking group and intergenerational activities.
