Belfast Hills Partnership, in partnership with Ulster Wildlife Trust, is using a £499,802 grant to improve the mental health, wellbeing and employability of young people living in the Belfast Hills area through the Wild Youth project.
The project covers the council areas of Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh and Antrim and Newtownabbey, through youth-led environmental activities.
This project delivers wild wellbeing sessions with 11-25 year olds, in and around the Belfast Hills, using nature as a tool to connect with young people and increase their physical and mental health, incorporating the 5 steps to wellbeing.
