Despite this, children and young people are being ignored in the Government’s spending plans.
NCB is proud to be part of a group of 120+ organisations calling for the Government to act swiftly to put children at the heart of its spending decisions. Supporters include teaching unions, children's charities, disability organisations, physical and mental health organisations and poverty campaigners. A full list of supporters is available here.
The coalition has written a letter to the Chancellor and Prime Minister calling for urgent action to prioritise chldren and families in the government's spending decisions.
We have also set up a public petition to Government where members of the public can add their support. Please sign it now.
The #ChildrenAtTheHeart campaign has also won the backing of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Children. Read their separate letter of support here.
