Marjorie is a Chief People Officer and has worked in the public and charitable sectors for over 30 years. Her career spans many areas, including arts and culture, children, young people and families and international safeguarding. As a member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the Board, she has provided leadership across all areas of HR practice including Talent Management, Recruitment and Retention, Employee Relations, and learning & development. As an inclusive leader diversity & inclusion is embedded within the work that she delivers.
She is passionate about supporting organisations to adapt and change, particularly due to the challenges organisations face, supporting children, young people and families within the current economic and sociological environment.
Her volunteer responsibilities over the past 25 years include, Chair of a single parent’s nursery, Director of Resident Housing Committee, Chair of an International Safeguarding Charity and more recently an independent member of the People & Culture Committee for the National Children’s Bureau. She is delighted to be given the opportunity to join the Board of Trustees for NCB.
