We take pride in the work we do and in doing that work the right way.
The work we do at NCB makes a big difference to the lives of children, young people and their families and that's why we love doing what we do.
But it's important that we put the right processes and practices in place to ensure that our work consistently meets the high standards we set for ourselves and that every member in every team feels supported and valued for their contributions.
Which is why winning accreditation and recognition for our work and the way we do it means so much.
Here's some of our team to offer a flavour of that endorsement from a range of independent and and respected sources:
Mind Workplace Wellbeing Bronze Award, Living Wage Employer and Disability Confident Employer:
At NCB, we recognise and champion the importance of wellbeing, inclusion and diversity in the workplace and we've taken steps to ensure that all our employees are a paid a real living wage.
Heather Devine - Head of People and Culture
ISO9001:
A lot of our work is focussed on helping all those that work with children and young people provide the best quality support and interventions. It is essential we deliver our part of this to the highest quality. We are keen to benchmark ourselves against the best and are proud that since 2018 we have been accredited with the ISO 9001 international standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System.
Rachel Rand – Chief Operating Officer
BREEAM Excellent rating:
We moved out of our long standing head office in 2018 and were keen to take this opportunity to move to a much more energy efficient office. We are proud to now be based in an office with a BREEAM excellent rating and work hard to occupy it in as responsible way as possible.
