A golden thread of specialism around children and young people runs through Pippa's experience across several sectors, alongside a particular focus on alliance-building and collective action.
She joined NCB in February 2025 having previously been Director of Influence, Evidence and Impact at The Children's Society, where she oversaw the charity's organisational policy and influencing strategy, research and evaluation function, and the organisational impact approach. Before that she was CEO of the Alliance for Youth Justice for five years, where she was responsible for the organisation's strategy, management and development.
Pippa completed a Professional Doctorate in Children and Young People’s Services at the University of Bedfordshire in 2024, focused on the factors that have influenced shifting systemic responses to adolescent girls and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Horizon Youth Centre in Euston, a charity supporting 18-24 year olds who are homeless or unsafe in London.
