When I came across this opportunity on Community NI I jumped at the chance to make an application. I am currently studying sociology in University of Ulster and hope to work in the voluntary sector upon completion of my degree.
I found the recruitment process to be one of the most enjoyable I have been through and it gave me to opportunity to truly be myself throughout. I was thrilled when I discovered I had been successful and whilst I had some first day nerves I am nothing but grateful for this opportunity.
I enjoy my job, I feel included in the team and I have been given experiences which I would not have otherwise had such as meeting other organisations, Outcome Based Accountability training and a complete immersion into the world of charities and voluntary work. NCB is a wonderful organisation, full of friendly and hard-working people, and I am grateful to be part of it. I intend to take on any and every opportunity given to me during my internship.
