All LINKS grant holders share a common goal to achieve positive change for children and young people. As well as direct delivery of services, many are engaged in campaigning for such change already while others would like to undertake such work. But what works to influence change?
Dustin Hutchinson from NCB's Policy Team delivered this interactive workshop to LINKS grant holders in December 2023.
The aims of the workshop were to:
- Identify effective methods and tools for successful campaigning activity.
- Help grant holders to develop their own influencing plans.
- Examine how children’s organisations have been involved in influencing work at Westminster as well as here in Northern Ireland.
- Be an opportunity for grant holders to share experiences of influencing activity and to learn from each other.
