Angel Eyes NI in partnership with the Children’s Law Centre is using a £435,716 grant to support children and young people from across Northern Ireland who have a visual impairment and are in mainstream education.
The five-year project is providing families with advocacy, legal advice and information to increase their understanding of the support available to them, be empowered to make decisions about their child’s education and be better informed to support them in their learning.
The project will also give children and young people an increased understanding of their rights to equitable education.
