See below for some great opportunities for you to get involved and have your voice heard!
Anti Bullying Alliance Film Competition
Could your school make the official Anti Bullying Week 2017 film? We know what incredible film makers YNCB members are and we need your help to make the official film for Anti-Bullying Week 2017! Last year's films had over 33,000 views on YouTube and in 2015 we had over 60,000 views. They are also used throughout our lessons plans and assemblies for the week.
Power for Good Award for School Staff
This Anti-Bullying Week we are continuing our very successful Power for Good award for teachers and school staff. Children and young people can nominate teachers and school staff in England that go above and beyond the call of duty to provide pastoral care to students for issues such as bullying, relationships, family life, mental health and wellbeing.
NCB in Northern Ireland are looking for a ‘young recruiter’ to help us find a new Intern for the LINKS project.
You don’t need to have any recruitment experience. You will be supported to feel confident about the recruiting process and will help us by:
- Being part of the recruitment panel for the group work assessment (Wednesday 29 November)
- Sit on an NCB interview panel (Wednesday 13 December) and get involved in the final decision making.
To thank you for your participation, you will be given a certificate of achievement (which can be useful for education and employment portfolios) and paid for your time.
If you’re interested in this opportunity, are aged 16-24 years and are available all day on the two dates above, please contact Gill Hassard: firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel: 028 90875006
Expressions of interest to be received by 15 November. Please note: this is only open to young people living in Northern Ireland.
