A study that describes the impact of life-long HIV and long-term antiretroviral therapy (ART) on neurocognitive function and psychosocial issues, cardiac function, metabolic function, sexual and reproductive health, and growth and body composition.
African Health Policy Network (AHPN)
An organisation working to improve the health and well-being of the UK's African population and to reduce health inequalities.

Body & Soul
A UK voluntary organisation supporting the specific needs of children, teenagers and families living with, or closely affected by HIV through five interlinked, age-specific programmes.

Children's HIV Association of the UK and Ireland (CHIVA)
A charity working across the UK and Ireland to improve care for HIV positive children and their families. CHIVA provides information, guidance and support for professionals, parents and young people living with HIV and runs an annual support camp for HIV positive young people.
Collaborative HIV Paediatric Study (CHIPS)
A follow-up study of HIV-infected children under care in the UK and Ireland. The study’s main objectives are to describe clinical, laboratory and treatment data for these children, as well as their use of paediatric HIV services.
Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS
A global network of young people who are changing the global HIV movement.
HIV in Young People Network
A multidisciplinary group of health professionals and voluntary sector representatives working with young people aged 14–24 who are living with HIV in the UK.
Inter-agency task team on HIV Prevention and Young People
A core group of international and national agencies that seek to accelerate the global response to HIV prevention for young people aged 10–24 years.
NAM works to provide independent, clear and accurate information about HIV for professionals, people living with HIV and advocates all over the world. NAM also provides a global e-atlas of services relevant to HIV treatment, care and support.
National AIDS Trust
UK-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people living with HIV by influencing the laws and policies – on areas such as health, benefits, and rights – which affect people with HIV.

National Study of HIV in Pregnancy and Childhood
The confidential national (UK and Ireland) active reporting scheme for pregnancies in HIV-positive women, babies born to HIV-positive women, and other children with HIV.
Paediatric European Network for Treatment of AIDS
PENTA was established in 1991 as a collaboration between paediatric HIV centres in Europe but it now comprises members from all over the world. The activities the network is mainly involved in are clinical trials and cohort studies.
