NCB's Early Childhood Unit (ECU) works to support and improve services for young children and their families so that they have rich and fulfilling early experiences and grow up safe, secure and supported.
We work directly with children’s services and settings to develop early years practice and support local authorities, health services and all those working with young children and draw on our Early Years Network of experienced early years practitioners and managers to share the latest news and information about early years issues – including policy, evidence and effective practice.
National Quality Improvement Network
Our National Quality Improvement Network (NQIN) helps quality improvement managers, policy makers and extended services to improve outcomes for young children and their families.
The network is a forum to share best practice, policy and research updates between national and local networks and provides a voice for the sector with a focus on quality improvement.
Members are representatives of regional local authority quality improvement networks and meetings are also attended by national early years support organisations such as the Pre-School Learning Alliance, NCB’s Early Childhood Unit, PACEY, NDNA and Early Education.
For more information on the NQIN, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
