Relationships Education and Health Education will be statutory in all primary schools from 2020 and the draft statutory guidance recommends that LGBT specific content is integral throughout. This one-day training introduces participants to the legal requirements underpinning an LGBT-inclusive approach and explores how sexual orientation and gender identity can be integrated in an age-appropriate way across all areas of the new curriculum.
Participants will have the opportunity to review a wide range of resources and to trial approaches for use in the classroom. The approach is interactive, with opportunities for planning and learning from colleagues.

No, we do not recommend that you book on to both courses. Please contact us if you work at both primary and secondary level to discuss your needs.
