We can provide sustained support to help you review provision, develop a particular area of practice or prepare for legislative change. As a Strategic Partner of the Department of Education we have helped shape a number of major policy initiatives, such as legislation on special educational needs. This means we are able to equip others about new statutory requirements. We work with local authorities, schools, commissioners and health and social care providers to help you adopt best practice and deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
Our consultants are expert practitioners recruited from education and children's services, health and the voluntary sector who have extensive hands-on experience in the sector. We understand the challenges and the increased pressure on services to deliver better outcomes and will work with you to help navigate the barriers, explore the best solutions and deliver a template of ‘what works’ for you.
We’ve worked with a host of organisations from the local to the national level. We worked with the Department of Health to produce the Lenehan review into the care of disabled children and young people with complex needs and with NHS England to advise on making the NHS constitution accessible to children and young people. We’ve also worked with numerous local authorities to help them develop practical approaches to delivering their statutory duties.
We’ve also worked with numerous local authorities to help them develop practical approaches to delivering their statutory duties including developing safeguarding practice, promoting the wellbeing of looked after children and developing practice in engaging families.
