Individual fundraising

We rely on charitable donations to carry out our vital work.

Payroll giving

Make a donation from your payroll through Childlife, a partnership between four charities – National Children’s Bureau, Ataxia UK, Acorns Children’s Hospice, National Deaf Children’s Society – that work together to raise funds to support children and their families.

Payroll giving is an easy, tax-effective way to give. Because the donation is taken from your gross pay, every £10 you give will only cost you £8, or only £6 if you are a higher rate tax payer.

Sign up for online payroll giving here.

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a legacy gift in your will help us to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people for years to come.

If you’d like to know more about supporting us through your will or how your gift could help our work, please contact us: fundraising@ncb.org.uk.

Give in memory or celebration

Making a donation in memory of a loved one in or celebration of a birthday, wedding or anniversary, is a special way to support a cause that means a lot to you or someone you care about.

If you would like to give in celebration of a special event or set up a fund in memory of someone you love, please get in touch: fundraising@ncb.org.uk.

Take part in an event

Raise funds for us – and have fun at the same time – by getting involved in an activity or event.

Take on a personal challenge and sign up to a sponsored run, walk, cycle or hike, or plan your very own event such as a bake-off, abseil or sports day with your mates.

Donate when you shop online

Making a donation when you shop online at one of the below websites is a quick and easy way to show your support:

Ebay – if you’re a seller on Ebay, you can choose NCB as your selected charity and give a percentage of your final selling price to us as a donation.

Easyfundraising – shop using the links provided by this shopping directory site and you'll generate a free donation for us of up to 15% of the purchase price every time.

ToucanBox – order a free petite ToucanBox containing a treasure trove of unique crafts to build and create with your child. Simply redeem the code FUND81 to ensure a £1 donation goes to the National Children’s Bureau. Download a flyer here.

You can also support us with donations when booking your next holiday and even extras such as travel insurance, car hire and foreign currency through travel retailers including Expedia,Thomas Cook, Virgin and lastminute.com.
