I joined NCB in January 2020 as a HR Advisor. My role is to ensure the day to day running of the HR function at NCB, including efficient and robust recruitment processes and procedures, an effective joiners and leavers process and maintaining good working relationships between line managers and employees.
My route to being a HR Advisor has been an interesting one. After completing my A-levels, I embarked on Apprenticeship programmes in Business and Administration as well as Human Resources instead of attending university. I also completed my professional CIPD qualification for HR Professionals before finding my place at NCB.
Highlights of my career so far is casting for and working on the set of Tarzan (2016 production) and being able to prove that Apprenticeship programmes are a success story. Best decision I’ve made so far was pursuing my HR career via the apprenticeship route.
