Rachel leads teams across finance, people and culture, facilities, digital and IT services, governance and data protection. She is focused on ensuring NCB is a sustainable, effective and trusted organisation.
Rachel qualified as a chartered accountant (ICAEW) in 2007, while working for Deloitte. After eight years in practice, Rachel moved into industry to work in a variety of roles at the British Land Company plc. until moving into the charity sector led to NCB.
Rachel spent 5 years as Trustee and Treasurer of a small youth charity called The Feathers Association and from 2022 - 2023 was Trustee and Treasurer of Just of Kids Law taking a leading role in a significant restructuring to secure the financial viability of the charity.

Of course, it can feel like there are competing priorities and that I can’t effect change with perfect efficiency, but I love the continual learning curve and the variety in my working day.’
