Lucy looks after our Council for Disabled Children's member organisations and co-ordinates CDC's communications including their website, news bulletins and social media.
Despite being raised in rural Oxfordshire and her friends’ protestations, she considers herself a Londoner, having moved to the capital to complete a Masters in Human Rights. She found her home in the city’s thriving third sector, and since graduating has worked in a variety of communication roles.
At CDC Lucy looks after the CDC website, updating it with all the latest news and resources, and keeping its networks engaged on social media through regular e-news bulletins. She enjoys promoting disability rights and sharing best practices with both young people and professionals working in the sector.
Before joining CDC Lucy worked for a cycling lobbyist in Brussels, where she combined her passion for cycling, policy and continental cheeses.
