Our research projects
Our team of specialist researchers work in collaboration with academic institutions and other research partners to examine the issues affecting children and young people today.
Our projects of all shapes and sizes combine robust methodology with policy and practice expertise to ensure our research designs meet the needs of our diverse client groups. We have extensive expertise of delivering:
- Research projects from inception to dissemination and advising others on different aspects of their research, including project design, appropriate methodologies, ethics and wider research governance and evaluation and impact.
- Qualitative studies using various approaches, such as focus groups, in-depth interviews, case studies and observation.
- Quantitative studies, including web and other self-completion surveys, as well as telephone surveys.
- Mixed-methods studies incorporating a range of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Systematic and rapid literature reviews.
- Evaluation and monitoring of services and programmes.
- Training and supporting young people to take a more active role in the planning and process of research and in the dissemination of research findings, skills and methods training to research professionals.
Below you will find information about our active research projects, and you can explore our past research reports in our policy library.
