Skills Development Programme

Would your organisation like help with existing work or support to expand in a specific area for a minimal placement fee?

Could you offer an entry level role to a young person between 18-24 years old?

If yes then NCB will cover their wages for 5 months as part of the new Skills Development Programme

Examples of the vacancies we have provided so far include:

Project Administrator, Research Assistant, Library Assistant, Policy Officer, Receptionist, Play Worker, IT Helpdesk, Media & Communications Apprentice, Fundraising Assistant, Administration Assistant.

• We are open to a variety of vacancies that will offer young people an opportunity to gain experience and new skills in the workplace.
• We will be recruiting again in August and are currently looking for organisations to provide opportunities. If you are interested in this scheme please see below for our contact details.

This programme is funded by Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of the Future Jobs Fund.

Priority will be given to voluntary, community or faith organisations in the following London boroughs: Greenwich, Hackney, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham or Tower Hamlets. However we would be happy to place young people in any organisation in London.
