Teenage pregnancy

The latest statistics show a 3.9% decrease in under-18 teenage conceptions between 2007 and 2008. Proposals for the teenage pregnancy strategy beyond 2010 were announced in March and a consultation was launched, which closed in May.

Children, Schools and Families Bill

The Children, Schools and Families Bill was given Royal Assent on 8 April 2010 - thus making it an Act. The clauses relating to PSHE and SRE were dropped from the Bill.
