- access, through NCB's membership and networks, to thousands of
people who work with and for children and young people.
Research quality and ethics
Our commitment to conducting high quality research is
underpinned by the NCB Research Centre Quality
Plan. This outlines our approach to quality assurance
throughout the management, design and delivery of our research
projects. This is also maintained through formal project reviews,
obtaining feedback from clients and staff training and
development.
Ethical scrutiny is undertaken for all our studies. We
adhere to the Social
Research Association Ethical Guidelines and convene an internal
ethics board. As required, we adhere to ethical requirements
outlined by our clients, participants or collaborators, for example
by obtaining ADCS
approval or convening external ethics boards to provide additional
independent or specialist scrutiny.
