Policy and lobbying

NCB works to improve public policy affecting children and young people. Our policy influencing, campaigns and Parliamentary work is shaped by evidence of what works to improve children and young people's experiences and life chances. We also work through coalitions and networks to promote changes to public policy that will benefit children and young people.

NCB provides the secretariat to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Children, a group of around 100 MPs and Peers interested in issues affecting children and young people.

As a membership organisation, NCB also offers up-to-date policy information to individuals and organisations working with children and young people.
