During October and November 2007, NCERCC facilitated nine
regional seminars of the Children's Residential Network. The feedback report [PDF 216KB] includes
the discussions regarding the 'burning issues' brought forwards by
people attending including training, drugs, staffing, education,
social workers, movement of placements/Stability/foster placements,
advocacy and legal status. There are discussions regarding the use
of the NCERCC practice documents. Attendees also gave feedback
regarding the work of OFSTED, and thoughts looking towards review
of the NMS.

presented to the Programme Board in November 2008:
