Every Disabled Child Matters needs you to get involved in our campaigns!

This is a list summarising all of our current actions:

1. Sign up as a supporter
Sign up to receive EDCM news updates and to hear about new ways you can help us campaign

2. Take action with EDCM to challenge cuts to disabled children’s services
If you have been affected by a local area cutting or reducing funding for a local service, please let us know 

3. Take action on short breaks
Email your local authority asking how they allocate short breaks and if they have eligibility criteria ask to view a copy. EDCM will be placing links to information on local authority eligibility criteria on our website.

4. Help make disabled children a local priority
- Get your local authority signed up to our LA Charter
- Get your PCT signed up to our PCT Charter

5. New duty to provide short breaks for disabled children under Children and Young Persons Act 2008
Email your local authority to ask how they are planning their short break services now and beyond 2011.

6. Disabled children - Going Places!
Email your council to ask how they will make sure disabled children and young people have good things to do and places to go

7. Tell us your story
Help put pressure on government to make change happen and support us with our media work

8. Become a fan of EDCM on Facebook
Join EDCM's Facebook fan page for updates and to get involved in discussions.

9. EDCM MP Constituency Pledge
Email your local MP and ask them to sign up to our Constituency Pledge
