Why campaign?

Disabled children, young people and families having their say

EDCM represents the voices of the 700,000 disabled children, young people and their families in the UK.

EDCM works with ‘Making Ourselves Heard’, the project to ensure every disabled child's right to be heard becomes a reality, to involve disabled children, young people and their families in setting the agenda for EDCM campaigns.

Since EDCM's launch in 2006 each year we have produced a report in partnership with disabled children and young people.

These reports focus on the priorities identified by disabled children and young people and their families, and are presented to central and local government, MPs, and other relevant decision-makers.
