Children and Young People As Researchers (CYPAR) Network
Children and Young People As Researchers (CYPAR) Network is an
initiative led by NCB NI and supported by a steering group of
representatives from ARK, VOYPIC, PlayBoard and YouthAction. The
purpose of the network is to create an information and support
mechanism for practitioners and researchers.
CYPAR aims to
- Promote the value of involving children and young people as
researchers to other researchers, research users and research
funders.
- Promote good practice in involving children and young people in
research practice and delivery.
- Encourage evaluation of the processes and impact of children
and young people's involvement and incorporate learning from this
into methods of involvement.
- Provide support to organisations and researchers who want to
involve children and young people as researchers.
