Welcome to the Children's Play Information Service

The Children's Play Information Service (CPIS) is a national information service on children’s play, part of NCB’s Library & Information Service. Our extensive reference library covers most aspects of children’s play, including theory, research, policy and practice. Visitors are welcome by appointment, including groups of students and their tutors.

CPIS also provides a free enquiry service to anyone with a professional or academic interest in children's play. If you need information or a literature search on a play topic you can contact us by telephone or email.
